Youtube is one of the best Web 2.0 service on the internet today. I really love watching music videos and funny video clips on Youtube.

Not sure what you mean by direct shortcuts. Do you mean that certain YouTube channels are configurable as folders on the start page of the YouTube Support?

look nice, can you try to implement direct shortcuts in the youtube app just like the did for the xtreamer? so we have direct access to these channels .

it seems to be that everything is coming from the google channels and feeds via http://gdata.youtube.com.
I’ve played around with the custom RSS server and cant get video from any other source to play other than youtube, so I’m not sure what params the flashplayer they are using requires. If I fix it I’ll post a howto

Sure, to show the playlists as results is no problem. Although it’s hard to say whether a continuous playback is possible with the WDTV, but its at least manually possible when the user activates the sequential playback.

I know I’m getting ahead of myself, but eventually you will implement playlist support, right? ;)
