Youtube is my favortie site to visit aside from facebook. most of the time i watched movie trailers and music videos on it.

Hi Elmar,

Any possibility to have it fixed again. Does it has to do with the cache as this was the case with Apple trailer? Apple Trailer works perfectly however I still see empty folders with YouTube

I am not able to see any content on the folders, all it says is empty folder. I see others also have the same issues. But no work around so far. Please help

When do you expect to have a fix. The YouTube application doesn’t work anymore all of a sudden. I must say I haven’t used it in a while. Other applications such as the Appletrailer do work nicely!

I also noticed that on the wdtvforum other users also have problems.
If you have time can you please take a look at it.

Just installed this app and no luck so far, got all the menus but no video. Is it possible that my IP address does not allow access. I am in the UK? I know that when my friends in Canada send me youtube links they don’t work. If this is the case how can I change urls to make this work?

Hello,
I am having some problems with this app. The keyboard appears, and I attempt to execute the search by hitting the ‘>’, however, nothing happens, and I can never return to the Folder contents menu.
I must say that being able to stream videos from youtube (via the Top Rated, Most Viewed, … menus) is quite amazing.

Hi, i also downloaded and tried this preview. Excellent work!
I’m having the same issues as described by Robin. Also, at the search screen, entering a search entry costs a lot of time due to the screen fade outs/ins.
For a preview its amazing what you accomplished so far!

The first time I tried this great YouTube plugin with my WDLXTV 0.5.6.1 the recent popular youtube movies worked great. As you said it takes about 20 seconds before they play. Also the time between pressing the remove and that it responds is about 5 seconds. I don’t have this with other applications.

The I tried the search function. At first it only showed as folder letters below each other. Then I pressed the letters but couldn’t see what I typed. However in the end I have something like jason_m which gave a list of e.g. jason mraz videos but it were only a few. I tried a few and they worked.

After a reset and power plugout I tried the searching again. This time it showed a correct keyboard. However I couldn’t use the ‘z’ for some strange reason. I saw this time letters in the top left however when I now pressed search I directly got the videoscreen with a Jason Mraz video. I didn’t got a list to choose from. When I returned and entered again I saw a different Jason Mraz movie.

I now wanted to return and just play a certain movie on my wdtv however that couldn’t be reached anymore because when pressed video in the menu and then folder it still showed the recent youtube search Huh instead of showing my usb stick and youtube and appletrailer folders. After a reboot i could use this again.

I hope this YouTube will get better but thank you so much for all the effords so far.
